RWV

Harjo Bakker studied law at the University of Leiden and graduated in Civil Law in 2003. He was admitted to the Bar in January 2004 and worked for several years as a lawyer and liquidator in Rotterdam and Dordrecht. Harjo joined RWV in February 2009 and is a part of the Corporate and Insolvency department. He is frequently appointed as liquidator in insolvency proceedings of and administrator in the suspension of payments to small and medium-sized companies. Furthermore he advises on matters of financing, security, goods and insolvency law as well as the law relating to directors' and officers' liability. Harjo has followed the Grotius-INSOLAD program in 2009, a post graduate specialisation course on Insolvency Law.
