Klaartje Beerlage studied law at the Leiden University and graduated in 2003. In 2004 she was sworn in as a lawyer. During the first years, Klaartje had a general practice and was among other things active in the field of labour law, liability law and general company law. From 2006 on, she also started dealing with the completion of bankrupt assets and gradually specialized in insolvency law. In 2009 she finished successfully her Grotius specialisation insolvency law studies. She is working with RWV Advocaten since March 2011 and is thus reinforcing the Sections Insolvency and Corporate Law. Klaartje is a prospective member of INSOLAD, the association of insolvency specialists and is regularly appointed curator for medium-sized bankrupt companies. Conversely, she also assists companies which got into financial troubles or which are faced with almost insolvency debtors.
